Here goes:
1. Cloud Boat
Minimal internet presence and only musical output being a 49sec long youtube video, Cloud Boat have just popped their live cherry with a prestigious support slot at James Blake's Plan B show last friday.
2. Lapalux
Aka Essex-bred Stuart Howard played the Macbeth only recently in support of Ghostpoet and we'll have him back on the 26th Jan alongside Porcelain Raft (see below).
3. Zoo Kid
Debut release 'Out Getting Ribs' dropped on House Anxiety Records last month. Reminiscent of early Wild Beasts; pre-sexual frustration.
4. Vondelpark
Minimal 2-step beats set to an ambient backdrop, Peckham-based Vondelpark is on everyone's lips at the moment. Legendary belgian dance label R&S Records-released EP 'Sauna' was only a taster of what's (hopefully) to come in 2011.
5. James Blake
Duh.
To celebrate this, we have invited Porcelain Raft and Lapalux to play the Macbeth on the 26th January with DJ sets from No Pain In Pop, Simon Is Tropical and yours truly.
It's FREE entry so no excuses, kapishe?
